The Truth

If I told you the truth
Would you choose to hear
Would you choose to listen
If I spoke it clear

I have much to say
For much have I learned
For some have listened
Yet many have spurned

The truth is Eternal
It cannot be changed
Not dependent on belief
It won’t be estranged

All things denote
There is One True God
From the heavens above
To the lush green sod

His works have no end
As surely you see
His intent is to give it
To you and to me

He is our Father
He resides up above
He wants us to be happy
He asks for our love
