The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Dost thou know the Father
Dost thou know the Son
Dost thou know the Holy Ghost
In purpose they are one

The Father hast all knowledge
All power is in His hands
He offered His only begotten Son
For death to break its bands

Jesus is our Savior
And can save us from our sins
But we must choose obedience
Eternal life is for us to win

The Holy Ghost is our companion
Is constant and so true
And if you listen closely
He’ll whisper truth to you

These three are individual
Separate and distinct
Yet they’re one in purpose
Harmonious and succinct

You can know this of a surety
Please pray with real intent
Have faith in Jesus Christ
And to you the truth be sent
