Pridefulness

We lack so much
In this world full of need
Life would be much better
If it weren’t for greed

The pridefulness of man
Is the most wicked of foundations
Great pain it inflicts
From nation to nation

The evil acts of others
Are tough to dissuade
They’re willing to hurt anyone
Just to get paid

Our God is often silent
As He sheds forth His light
He Repays all in all
To both wrong and the right

So always be grateful
For what you receive
Be it great or little
In God Believe
