Forgive Yourself

Are you heavy-laden
With troubles deep inside
Do you hurt so bad
That you want to go hide

Does it seem you just can’t think straight
And your life’s a total mess
Do you wonder what the reason is
For all of this distress

Mistakes are often made
Yes, by one and all
Just always do your best
And stand up straight and tall

Just know you must forgive yourself
And remember them no more
Try to make just recompense
Of this I do implore

Smile My child and be of good cheer
For you never are alone
The Father and Son are very near
Guiding you from their throne

So take a breath and just relax
Let go of Earthly cares
Take thought of our Eternal Blessings
Of which we all are heirs

Choose yourself the sure straight path
And get your life on track
Our God will always make up
For all that we do lack
