How Should I Pray

Father in Heaven how should I pray
To give honor and thanks to Thee
I also have needs to tell Thee of
And many are not for me

Father in Heaven I humbly implore
As I seek Thy wisdom and grace
Dost Thou really hearest my words
And dost Thou knowest my face

I know all my children every wit
Nothing escapes my eye
I hear every word that falls from their lips
And sometimes I even cry

I know the afflictions My children do bear
This is something that has to be
Just as My beloved son Jesus
Submitted His will unto me

First have faith in your God above
Then pray with sincerity
Offer thy prayers with real intent
And have a heart full of charity
