To Return is Your Goal

The stars in their grandeur
Dance through the night
Making man seem so small
Beneath their faint light

Father forgive me
Oh humbly I pray
My heart is so moved
And this I must say

The heavens are so vast
And they move without care
Yet somehow I feel
That I belong there

Hearken dear child
And I’ll speak to your soul
You once lived with me
And to return is your goal

My sons and my daughters
There is only one way
It is through Christ the Lord
So Praise Him Each Day
